OFM Group based in Southend sought a requirement to reduce the amount of paperwork that was held in boxes within their offices in Southend,also accessing information within the client files was a time consuming process and some information was actually lost or misfiled.
A document management solution was introduced into the business together with network scanners to enable live files to be scanned into the system ready for instant retrieval.OFM then contracted Advanced Technology to scan in all of their old files at their bureau in Wickford.Once scanned the images were transferred into their in house system, to date over 300,000 documents have been scanned and imported and over 50 boxes of files shredded and recycled.
