Giess Wallis Crisp based in Harlow Essex are a long established accountants with over 30 staff.
Like most accountants the overwhelming amounts of paperwork that are produced on a daily basis was becoming a concern with storage space running out. Giess Wallis Crisp sought a solution that would be easy to use and allow them to search for client files electronically without the need for searching through large paper files that were sometimes mis filed.
Advanced Technology installed INVU S200 document management software to enable instant retrieval of all client files improving customer services and reducing storage space. All documents such as Tax Returns, VAT Returns and correspondence are scanned in using a Rex Rotary Multi Functional Device and indexed away ready for searching and instant retrieval. Searching is carried out by specific indexed fields or by using OCR technology that is built into the INVU system. As well as scanning Giess Wallis Crisp use the Rex Rotary device for Copying, Printing and Faxing reducing their printing costs and improving efficiencies within the office.
The Rex Rotary Multi Functional Device has proved to be far more cost effective over conventional printers and faxes as well as being far more efficient allowing faxing to be carried out from the individual workstations.
