SVC are a large recruitment agency with offices in Colchester, Chelmsford and Ipswich. Specialists in Permanent and Temporary placements in all types of industry as a business they are continuing to expand across the South East.
Amanda Simpson the managing director sought a solution to their ever increasing paper problems that was taking up valuable office space and causing problems with the time taken to retrieve files and responding to enquiries. After a detailed survey of the market place they chose Advanced Technology to provide a solution to the problem.
Advanced Technology supplied two Rex Rotary Multi Functional Devices in Colchester together with INVU document management software. SVC now scan in all Time Sheets, CVs, Terms Of Business and Candidate Packs using the MFDs directly into the INVU system by way of mail boxes connected to each individual workstation on the network. Once scanned into the system all documents are instantly available by using structured indexing and OCR technology that is built into the INVU system. Once scanned in all documents produce an audit trail so the documents can be tracked ensuring data protection.
This system has since been duplicated in the Ipswich office and soon to be installed in the Chelmsford branch with the benefit of in the future being able to link the offices enabling documents to be viewed from any branch at any time.
